Charlie Garcia’s 1 owner 2-Door Tudor Sedan

Hollywood Dream Car

The year was 1960 and I was a 20 year old kid and like every other kid I had a yearning for a new car. One day I stopped by the Cort Fox Ford dealership in Hollywood CA and there it was on the showroom floor. A 1960 Ford Falcon Tudor in Monte Carlo Red. It was loaded with the deluxe package which included a padded dash, padded sun visor, white steering wheel, radio, heater and chrome package. It also had deluxe wheel covers. What a beauty! I wondered to myself if I could possibly afford this car. The answer was yes!

This is the oldest 1960 2-door Ford Falcon in California. The car was born (manufactued) at the Ford plant in San Jose, CA on February 17, 1960. Number 40,524 of 193,470 made and I purchased the car on February 28, 1960.
